Beginners Yoga Abberley Worcestershire

You will experience the benefits of Pranayama otherwise known as proper breathing techniques, such as deep abdominal breathing and alternate nostril breathing (anuloma vuloma). The breathing techniques have progressed to include Kapalabhati breathing which can be practised after two months of alternate nostril breathing. Options are given to individual students who may struggle with more advance breathing techniques. Some people find they struggle to breathe through the nose, particularly during Hay-fever season so please do let me know if you are struggling and I can recommend some Yogic Kriyas to support you, cleansing options for the sinuses.

The postures vary weekly and each class ends with the highly beneficial guided 20-minute meditation and relaxation, known as Yoga Nidra. Please  bring a blanket to make full use of this experience as you will find that your body temperature drops after we’ve done the physical bit.

It is recommended that you use your own equipment such as a mat, strap and blocks particularly to encourage a home practise in between classes but all equipment can be provided. Please do bring a blanket for the guided relaxation at the end of class. Please get in touch if you wish you join in any Yoga 7 classes online .
